Forwarding Instructions
VoiceCloud works by forwarding your phone to the VoiceCloud Number you chose during the setup process. You will need to forward your mobile or land line to the local number you were issued by VoiceCloud to utilize the service. For your Landline, you will need to contact your carrier to forward your phone to your VoiceCloud Number. For your Cellphone / Mobile, there are a few different options for forwarding but this is the easiest: Your phone will have an option in the ‘Settings’ or ‘Profile’ menu called ‘Divert or Forward Calls’ (or something similar). Just follow the on-screen prompts to activate or deactivate your call forward options. There will be separate options for different situations, such as ‘Busy’ or ‘No answer’. Just enter the VoiceCloud Number in the proper field and save your changes.
You can also call your carrier directly and they will set it up free of charge. You will want to choose a ‘conditional call forwarding’ ’No answer’ and/or ‘Busy’ setup. Additional Mobile Phone Activation Instructions:
Find your Carrier (List below)
Enter the first code exactly as written, as if you’re dialing someone. Replace [VoiceCloud Number] with your VoiceCloud phone number. For example, if your VoiceCloud phone number is 203-555-1212, and your service is AT&T, then you would enter *004*12035551212.
Press “Send” or “Talk” or “Enter” on your phone to dial that number.
After following the steps below, try calling your mobile phone from another phone and leave a voicemail. The message should appear in your VoiceCloud inbox!
If these options do not work, call your carrier directly and they will set it up free of charge. You will want to choose a ‘conditional call forwarding’ ’No answer’ and/or ‘Busy’ setup.
